Dahl, Bill. Motown: The Golden Years. Iola, WI: Krause, 2001. Print. This book was incredibly useful and I used it
mainly for my "Artists" tab. It consisted of a biography for each artist in Motown since 1959. I learned about so
many of them and how they impacted the music world. It was a great book to use for my project.

the Temptations. This is the official Motown website and I took advantage of the information it had. There was a
timeline that displayed in sequence the important dates in Motown history. There was also a biography page that
elaborated on a few lives of the "Motown Family". I used this information throughout my entire website and
thought that it was a great source.

music that i wanted in the "Top Songs" tab. I took each song that i mentioned and placed it in a playlist that was
generated into an HTML code. I really like this feature of my website, because it allows the viewer to recall certain
songs from the song list provided.
Posner, Gerald. Motown: Music, Money, Sex, and Power. New York: Random House, 2002. Print. This book was
very useful and helpful in my research. It elaborated mostly on Berry Gordy's success through Motown and how it
changed a lot of his artist's lives. There were many similar obstacles that they all went through and it was
interesting to see how each of them handled it. This book was one of my two non-internet sources and I learned a
lot by reading it.
